Carolyn Kim is a Korean American multidisciplinary graphic designer based in the SF Bay Area who focuses on building memorable experiences no matter the medium, from branding to visual interfaces. She grew up in San Jose and graduated in May 2024 from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco with a BFA Graphic Design with a high distinction award.
Since 2023, she has been professionally working with Children’s Creativity Museum as a graphic designer for about a year ongoing, through an internship, fellowship, and currently a part-time independent contract. Currently, she is also interning at the brand & marketing agency Nesscessity as a Art Direction/Graphic Design Intern. Additionally, she has been an art director for 2 end-of-semester exhibitions at her college.
Cultivating her artistic abilities since childhood and expanding to graphic design and UX/UI, she has developed a keen attention to detail while also being able to maintain a holistic view of the overall system. No matter where, you can probably spot her indulging in boba while listening to some tunes as a bobarista, capturing moments through photos as she explores the world, or learning electric guitar.
